Apprenticeship Program

Engineering Professional Apprenticeship Program

HYDAC Australia is committed to developing skilled tradespeople for the future of Australia’s manufacturing and fluid power industries. Our apprenticeship program combines structured learning, hands on training, and strong mentoring across industrial electrical and hydraulic disciplines.

Apprentices work four days a week at HYDAC and attend TAFE one day a week, gaining a balance of practical experience and technical knowledge. Training covers safety, diagnostics, maintenance, quality systems, and product understanding, supported by experienced technicians and engineers across our operations.

HYDAC partners with AI Group as the Registered Training Organisation, providing a clear and well supported pathway from first year to completion. HYDAC is also a national finalist in the Australian Apprenticeships Employer Award category, reflecting the strength of our program.
