Standard Silencer for noise diminishment

HYDAC's Standard Silencer reduces vibrations, thereby contributing to reduced noise emissions.

Volume and pressure fluctuations are exhibited mainly as vibrations and noise.

Noise, also the result of mechanical vibrations and vibrations caused by fluid pulsations, is amplified further when transmitted to larger areas.

To combat noise emissions HYDAC has on offer an all-purpose Standard Silencer (of series SD330 and SD280K) to decrease vibrations.

The new aspect enables the Standard Silencer to be selected with less data, namely:

• pump type
• pump speed
• maximum operating pressure
• flow rate

Furthermore, customised versions are available (SD210-0,73 L).

• Majority of oscillations damped over a wide frequency range by reflection and interference
• Reduction of noise level inside mobile machines, such as a tractor’s cab, and industrial systems
• Maintenance-free due to a lack of moving parts and gas charge
• No impact from pump pressure changes and pump frequency (175Hz – 375Hz)
