Are you keen to have an interactive, 3D, augmented reality (AR) experience of HYDAC’s hydraulic equipment from a cylinder test bench to a wheel lock hydraulic power unit without the requirement for an app and in the ease of any setting? Look no further than HYDAC’s latest digital technology, HYDAC WebAR.
All the user is required to do is open hydac.com.au on their mobile phone, go to WebAR and select the locally designed, engineered and manufactured product they want to explore.
The functionality enables the user to rotate a piece of machinery such as a diverter drive system and see it from different angles.
In addition, they can click plus signs on the equipment to get more information as to what they’re looking at. For example, a plus sign on the cylindrical text bench points out an electrical panel, with some corresponding information.
Other equipment available for examination includes the Hybox Maxi and filter press hydraulic power unit.
The WebAR functionality works on most Apple and Android devices. The link – developers.google.com/ar/devices – can be used to determine if a mobile device is compatible with this technology.
